SportDog In-Ground Fence System
The SportDog Brand In-Ground Fence System offers a simple and cost-effective alternative to traditional fencing, ensuring your dog’s safety and freedom within your yard. Whether your dog is a hunter, a trial participant, or simply a beloved companion, this containment system provides a secure environment without the high costs of conventional fences. Easy to install and versatile, it accommodates any yard or area with ease.
Suitable for dogs weighing over 10 pounds, the system’s transmitter covers up to 100 acres, making it ideal for various property sizes. With 1,000 feet of wire and 100 flags included, the system can initially cover up to 1 1/3 acres, but can be expanded to up to 100 acres with additional wire and flags (sold separately). The installation is straightforward: simply bury the wire around your yard's perimeter and plug in the transmitter.
The system works with a collar that receives a signal from the buried wire. If your dog gets too close to the boundary, the collar issues a warning, followed by adjustable levels of static stimulation, vibration, or tone. The waterproof collar receiver, equipped with DryTek® technology, is submersible to 25 feet and features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts 1-2 months per charge.
You can easily expand the system to include multiple dogs by purchasing additional collar receivers (sold separately). The included training instructions will help you quickly familiarize your dog with the new boundaries.
