Setup
Tactacam REVEAL X 3.0 Trail Camera
Mounting the Camera: Attach the camera to a tree or structure using the provided tree strap. Adjust the height and angle as needed.
Powering the Camera: Insert 12 AA batteries or connect to a DC 12V power source.
Inserting an SD Card: Place the SD card into the slot for additional storage.
Aiming the Camera: Use the Tactacam app to view live aiming and adjust the camera’s position for optimal coverage.
Connecting to the App: Download the Tactacam app, pair it with your camera, and access remote controls and features.
Tactacam REVEAL T-Post Camera Mount
Attach to T-Post: Locate the thumb screw on the bracket of the T-Post Mount. Position the bracket against the T-Post and tighten the thumb screw until the mount is securely attached. Ensure stability.
Mount the Camera: Align the 1/4” – 20 threaded stud of the mount with the camera’s threaded insert. Screw the mount’s stud into the camera’s insert until firmly attached.
Position the Camera: Use the ball head gimbal to adjust the camera angle. Lock the gimbal in place using the thumb screw once the desired position is achieved.

Attaching the Buckle: Thread the strap through the slots on the REVEAL Buckle, ensuring it is securely in place.
Securing the Camera: Position the camera against the mounting surface. Wrap the strap around the surface and feed it through the buckle.
Tightening: Pull the strap through the buckle to tighten, securing the camera firmly in place.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement: Monitor battery levels via the app and replace them as needed. Consider a lithium cartridge or solar panel for extended use.
