What more could a hunter want in a tracking and training system?  The SportDog TEK 2.0 Series Training and Location has a 10 mile range and the ability to provide feedback on a dog’s location thanks to preloaded, full color 1:100,000 TOPO maps.  You will never have to worry about your maps being out of date, as this system comes with unlimited lifetime map updates.  When a 3 second update rate is specified, each TEK training collar has a 24 hour lifespan, ensuring you never have to worry about running out of battery and losing your dog.  Batteries recharge in as little as 4 hours.  

Do you worry about leaving behind a hunting buddy?  Thanks to HopTek technology, you can also track additional handheld devices within a 10 mile range.  An icon-based home screen allows for intuitive and easy use of the navigation and training system.  A tilt-compensated compass on the screen allows for easy navigation towards your dogs or hunting buddies, while superior range performance with immunity to signal interference is guaranteed.  Voice notification also enables hands-free use.  

As a training device, the SportDog TEK 2.0 Series Training and Location offers impressive functionality.  With 99 stimulation levels to choose from, including vibration and tone modes, hunters are sure to find the perfect level of correction for their dog.  Stimulation can be programmed for continuous, momentary, or progressive correction.  

The Drytek collar is also waterproof and submersible to 25 feet, while the handheld device is waterproof and submersible to 5 feet.  This system is intended for dogs that weigh more than 8 lbs and have neck sizes 10 ¾’’ – 23’’. Included in the box are handheld device with antenna, GPS collar with electronic collar module, location-only module, gear bag, charge cradle, adapter, USB cables, basic training DVD and manual, quick start guide, long contact points, test light, lanyard, and allen wrench.
