Owens Dog Boxes – Owens Products

The Owens Products company was first created in 1965 with the introduction of the Classic fifth wheel hitch and the Owens fifth wheel recreational trailer.  Until 1977, Owens primarily manufactured commercial trailers until the first aluminum running board was designed.  In 1989, Owens left trailer and vehicle manufacturing to focus solely on the production of aluminum, plastic, and fiberglass automobile accessories.

Since that time, Owens Products has been a dominant force in aftermarket accessories, especially with the introduction of their aluminum dog boxes.  Still family owned and operated, all Owens automobile products are proudly made in the United States.

Owens has one of the most extensive product lines of aluminum dog boxes on the market.  Available options range from single to multi-compartment, with or without storage space, and in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.  There are numerous product lines available, ranging from do-it-yourself kits to fully decked out models, with all budgets and price points accommodated.  Regardless of the make and model that you choose, there are a handful of characteristics that are guaranteed.  These include rugged diamond tread aluminum, durable construction, secure doors, and appropriately sized air vents.  Additionally, each product is guaranteed to be made in the United States.

Why choose an aluminum dog box?  Hands down, a heavy duty box made from aluminum construction will be the safest place for your dog during travel.  In case of an accident, you are guaranteed the box will not crush, bend, or break under pressure.  Unlike a crate, an aluminum dog box keeps your pet secure when you have to leave your vehicle.  Additionally, these dog boxes provide the proper insulation to keep your pet warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  When the aluminum dog box is made by Owens – one of the most trusted names in aluminum construction – you certainly cannot go wrong.
