We are often asked how to apply the decals we just purchased and its actually very simple!
Clean Surface
You must first start with a clean surface. Prepare the surface that you which to apply you decal to with a solution of mild soap and water. The use of soaps or detergents that contain any lotions or creams is not recommended and can interfere with the adhesion to the surface in which you are preparing for your decal.
Surface and air Temperature
For best results we recommend that the surface that you are working with and the air temperature be at or above 50* (f)
If the surface that you are applying your decal to is freshly painted, I recommend that you wait until the paint has properly cured and hardened before applying your vinyl cut decal.

Ensure adhesion to transfer tape
Assure proper adhesion of the vinyl decal material to the transfer tape by laying the decal on a hard flat surface face-up and using an application tool or other similar device to squeegee the surface.
Remove backing
Lay decal on flat surface face down. Slowly start to remove the backing from the transfer tape, being sure to pay attention to the decal vinyl and ensuring that it is not coming off with the backing and that it is securely adhered to the transfer tape. For best results do not pull off at an angle and remove by pulling straight back!
Place you decal on the surface
Position your decal on the clean surface and use your hand to rub across the surface to the transfer tape to assure contact. Now use your application tool or similar device to adhere the entire decal to the surface by using overlapping strokes.
Remove transfer tape
Now it’s time to expose the final product! Remove the transfer tape by pulling at an angle using a steady motion exposing the vinyl. If you notice air bubbles in the vinyl, use a needle to puncture the bubble and smooth the surface. Do not use a blade of any kind to puncture the decal to bleed the air bubble.
Thats it, now its time to reap the rewards of your vinyl decal or sign. If is advertising or just showing everyone your passion, vinyl decals will do the job!
