The long awaited official announcement of the Tri-Tronics / Garmin Pro 70, Pro 550, and Pro Trashbreaker has finally arrived!
In 2011 the merger of Garmin and Tri Tronics allowed the combined company to expand their leadership position in both the tracking and training of sporting dogs and household pets alike. Their combined teams will work together to develop cutting-edge products that will help dog owners more effectively train their dogs and keep them safer. Together, these innovative design teams are bringing products to market quicker, with more features, and at a competitive price.
The Tri-Tronics Classic 70, Pro 500, and Trashbreaker training systems have been a staple for years in the Dog Training world and now the these combined technologies have brought us the Garmin Pro 70, Pro 550, and Pro Trashbreaker. While keeping the classic tubular design Garmin has added several new features to this great line of e-collars. One of the most impressive features is a built-in BarkLimiter, activated by the dog device. BarkLimiter features AutoRise technology, which automatically adjusts correction to the optimum level needed to stop unwanted barking, elimination the need for additional collars and expense. The Bark Limiter administers a correction at the exact moment it is needed, eliminating the delay associated with administering a correction manually! All units boast a 1-mile range with the Trash Breaker featuring a range of up to 4 miles!

The stimulation level/tone/LED selection dial is at the top of the handheld unit, allowing intuitive operation. And the multi-dog toggle switch and the color-coded buttons comfortably line up in the hand for fingertip control.
A 2 ½-inch fixed transmitter antenna eliminates the threat of a lost or broken antenna while delivering up to 1 mile range.
Train with Stimulation and Tone
Choose from 6 levels of continuous stimulation or a tone setting for up to 6 dogs at a time (additional dog devices required; purchase separately). Stimulation strength has been increased at the top setting for enhanced effectiveness and choice over the entire range.
