When packing for a hunting trip or even a training excursion, you want to make sure you have plenty of room in your truck for your dogs and your supplies. Â An aluminum dog box with additional storage space is the answer, such as the Owens Dog Box 55012.
This dog box combines all the same great features of other Owens dual dog box models, but with additional width and storage.  At 48’’ wide it is among the widest of the Owens Dog Box Hunter Series, without adding additional height.  This dog box is still a relatively light 95 lbs, making it heavy enough to stay in place, but light enough that you can transfer it out of your truck when necessary.
The 55012 model features diamond tread aluminum and is fully manufactured in the United States. Â The dog compartments are lined for comfort, and lockable slam latch doors provide security and protection for your pets. Each door is vented with storm covers, and side and rear panels contain oversized, maximum flow air vents. Â Rattle free carrying handles ensure a quiet ride.
A storage compartment above the dog compartments spans the width and depth of the dog box and is 6’’ high.  This additional compartment provides plenty of space to store all of your hunting necessities such as guns, electronics, and dog equipment.

Most dog boxes are built to order at the manufacturer and are shipped out in approximately 5-10 business days from the date the order is placed. Add another 2 to 5 business days for delivery based on the shipping zone.
