PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence – Electronic pet containment

Electronic pet containment is a simple solution for fence-less yards and for dog owners who have special dog containment needs.  The PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence is an effective solution.

The PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence starter set contains 500 feet of wire that can cover approximately ½ acre.  With the purchase of additional wire, up to 5 acres can be covered with this basic system.  While your dog is wearing the waterproof receiver, he or she will hear a beep when too close to the boundary line and gentle static correction (with 4 adjustable levels) when he or she is too close to the underground fence wire.  With the purchase of additional collars, an unlimited number of dogs can be contained with this system.

In addition, progressive “run through prevention” mode increases the amount of stimulation your dog experiences when standing at the boundary line in order to deter your dog from running through the invisible fence.
