Like the Owens Dog Box 55005 model, the 55006 dog box has two lined dog compartments with a storage compartment situated on top.  This model is wider than the 55005, with the same depth and height.

Everything else about this dog box is similar to the other model, including diamond tread aluminum, American craftsmanship, lockable slam latch doors, and vented doors and side panels.  

What are the Benefits of the Owens Dog Box 55006?
The benefit of this model is the significantly increased width.  The storage compartment is 10’’ wider than the 55005 model, and dog compartments are each 5’’ wider.  

What are the Limitations of the Owens Dog Box 55006?
For an especially tall dog, the 18’’ height might not be appropriate; however, with the increased width this dog box could be used for a taller dog if crouching is not an issue.  

Who can Benefit Most from the Owens Dog Box 55006?
The hunter who needs a lot of storage space for guns, training equipment, field supplies, and electronics can benefit most from this dog box.  

Who can Benefit Least from the Owens Dog Box 55006?
Hunters with very tall dogs might be limited by the 18’’ height, in which case the Owens Dog Box 55019 model with 25’’ height (but no storage space) might be the better option.

The Owens Dog Box 55005 model is most comparable to the 55006, which is 38’’ wide but has the same height and depth.  The Owens Dog Box 55019 model does not have a storage compartment, but the dog compartment is 25’’ tall.
