The Ruff Tough Kennels Dog Crates are made of high-quality plastic and rotationally molded into a single piece for ultimate strength. These kennels will withstand abuse and take whatever any trainer, handler, hunter or guide can throw at it.

Strong and Secure

The Ruff Tough Kennel has been through destructive testing by being dropped from a height of twelve feet with no detectable damaging effects. After a series of four drops, the kennel showed only scratches and stains from the grass and concrete — no cracks or splits were detected. The Ruff Tough Kennel was also shot at with a #6 Bird-shot shotgun load at approximately 15 yards, and only a few of the pellets penetrated the walls of the kennel. The rest were buried in the wall of the HDPE material, providing one of the securest housings for your dog in and around the field.

Medium – 18″W x 28″L x 20″H Weight: approx. 17lbs.
Intermediate – 20″W x 30 1/2″L x 23″H Weight: approx. 21 lbs.
Large – 21.5″W x 34 1/4″L x 26″H Weight: approx. 30 lbs.
Extra Large – 22″W x 40″L x 30″H Weight: approx. 42lbs.

Available Accessories

Several accessories are available for your RTK and make the crates a flexible and an ideal choice for any use or location.

• Stackable Top Tray – The Ruff Tough Top Tray is ideal for holding all your field gear or dog supplies. It fits neatly onto the top of the intermediate, large, or XL size kennels. It can also be permanently attached with hardware that is not included.
• Tie Down Kit – For added safety and security this is the accessory you need! The Ruff Tough Kennels tie down Kit comprises four brackets, four bolts, and 4washers. This kit attaches to your Ruff Tough Kennels Dog Crate so you can secure it inside a truck bed, back seat or any other place you choose. Attach the tie down brackets to the kennel, and secure your enclosure in place with a strap, cord of similar retention device.
• Coupler for Multiple Kennels – The Ruff Tough Kennel coupler kits is perfect for securing your crates together in your home, kennel, vehicle, or business.
• Fan – The heavy duty Ruff Tough Dog Crate Fan gives you two fan speeds at the flip of a switch for maximum cooling for your dog, or for minimal power draw to conserve your battery. Field tested to withstand weather and vehicle vibration. Connect to your vehicle’s 12-volt cigarette lighter plug, or to your trailer hitch power connector with an adapter cable.
• Door Cover – These covers helps keep heat inside the kennel. It also helps protect your dog from debris during travel. Can be a solution to dogs with anxiety issues. Covers mount on the inside of the kennel door. Mounting hardware is included.
• Handles – Two rubber and canvas handles are included with hardware that attaches to the inserts on the top of your intermediate, large, double door versions or XL kennel. (Note that Small and Medium kennel come with handle already attached). These are perfect for ease of manual transportation of your kennel.

Water Topper – Holds up to 9 gallons of water in the outer reservoir with 12″x22 1/2″ storage available on top. This topper nests on top of intermediate, large and XL kennels. Included spigot provides ease in pouring. Perfect for in-the-field, Test, and Trials or camping situations. Note it will not sit flush on the kennel if using the coupling system.
